“You defaced school property!”

“Principal,” she said through clenched teeth. “It was just a gum wrapper!”

“Litter is litter, missy. A clean school is a happy school. You can think about that in detention. Oh, and by the way…” He handed her a mop and pail. “Think of it as your way of apologizing to the janitor.”

Snyder smirked as he walked away. He had finally been able to get Cordelia Chase to shut up, not even Summers could do that.
