Robin and Giles were discussing final plans for the battle starting in a few short hours. The were interrupted by a knock. Giles sighed, and Robin opened the door to his office.

"What in the bloody Hell do you want"? Giles hissed. "We have quite a lot on our hands right now and we, I don't have time for you and your shenanigans."


"Easy there Ripper old man, I've reformed. I'm here to help." Ethan purred. Robin just looked at Ethan and then turned to Giles and questioned, "Ripper? What's that all about?"

Rupert was on his feet, ignoring Robin's query. He grabbed the lapels of Ethan's shirt and shook him roughly, fully intent on shaking the man to death if need be. He really had planned on maiming Ethan but when he got that close to his old 'frienemy' he instead hugged him closely. "God! I've missed you. Even if you were a right pain in the ass. They were still entangled when Robin coughed for attention.

"Um, should I leave the two of you alone or what?"

"Oh no, no. It's quite alright, as I said, here to help. if I can." Ethan stated.

Robin stood and introduced himself, and said jokingly. "Can we skip the hugging part?" He opened his mouth and gave Ethan his famous dazzling smile.

"Maybe later boys, with the 3 way but for now, let's get on this shakedown and put this enemy under ground!" Ethan uttered smugly with a dash of cockiness.

"Er, Ethan. The enemy is already under ground. "From beneath you it devours!"

"W-what?" Ethan stuttered. I--I've heard that before, back where I was being 'held' I was having nightmares and that is the phrase I heard. Over and over. It's why I came."

"Well, let's get on this then." Said Robin and the all sat down, called out the Scoobies, and did the preparation thing.
