This was crazy and there was no way it could end well. Their whatever-this-was was doomed to end in heartbreak and tragedy. Probably mostly for her. Hot cheerleaders fixing up high school losers might work in some lame teen movie after-school special, but in the real world there was no way she could make Xander Harris cool. If her friends found out, and they totally would, he would just drag her down into his social gutter and her reign as Queen C would be over. Cordy knew that, really she did. Funny how that didn’t stop her from kissing him.
