Heh great quotes. My fave is #2. I'm trying to write a fic, and I've actually used that same quote as you did on #1. Boy, noir is hard! Guess that's why they call it hard-boiled ;)

Thanks! I tried coming up with something written as well, but I gave up pretty quickly... that stuff is nearly impossible to get right without sounding like a complete parody.

Not all that up on noir to begin with, and yeah, it is sounding real crappy. Oh, I'll probably post it anyways. I've got no conscience that way ;)
