A/N: Spoilers for the Supernatural episode "Dream A Little Dream Of Me"

Dean watched as a glowing light radiated from a spot in the forest, revealing a brunette sitting on a blanket.

"Hey baby." She smiled over at the taller of the two men. "You brought Sammy this time." She stood from her spot on the blanket. "He'll make a great uncle, won't he Dean? Raising the kid you leave behind?"

"I don't have a kid."

She cocked her head to the side in the way that Dean loved. "Yeah, that's right. And now you never will." An unearthly scream ripped through the clearing as blood began to gush from her stomach.

"Faith!" Dean rushed towards her, but the room seemed to spin, and everything changed. Suddenly he was left all alone, without even Sam to keep him company.

---

Faith felt like her internal organs had just been yanked out through her ass. "That dream root thing's a bitch." She scanned her surroundings, noticing a dead girl lying on the ground. On closer inspection, Faith saw that the girl was a mirror image of herself. "Well that's morbid." Slowly, she squatted down to close her doppelganger's eyes, but before she could the forest disappeared, changing into an empty hallway. "Trippy." Rising back to her feet, she yelled for her target. "DEAN! Where the hell are you?"

"Right here."

Faith whipped around to come face to face with Dean... only it wasn't him. "You're not Dean."

The fake Dean chuckled. "Of course I am."

"Nah, you know, Dean kinda has these wicked green eyes. Least the last time I checked he did." She shot him a satisfied smirk. "Though I appreciate the attempt to please me. Black being my favorite color and all."

Fake Dean just continued to laugh and shook his head in amusement. "You really don't get it, do ya Faithy?"

"Get what? That you're just some wacked out nightmare in Dean's head? 'Cause, hate to break it to ya, but I already knew that."

"I am a nightmare. But it's so much more than that. You probably should've stayed in school, wildcat. You might have it figured out by now." He smiled devilishly, but not in the way that Faith knew and loved.

"Don't call me that. You're just a figment of Dean's crazy imagination. I've done the mind meld crap before, you can't touch me." She shot him a smile of her own. "I've just gotta wake the real Dean up and--" She suddenly felt the ground disconnect from her feet as an invisible hand lifted her up by the throat.

"How wrong you are, sweetheart."

Faith gasped for breath as the hand tightened around her neck. "De--" She sucked in as much air as possible. "Dean! Wake up!"

As if on cue, another Dean busted through a door. He looked at the scene in front of him and let out a low groan. "Not this again."

Faith attempted her best incredulous look while being strangled. "Hey, dumbass!"

Dean readily locked eyes with Faith. "What'd you say?"

Coughs racked through her lungs as her air supply lessened. "Wake the hell up, NOW!"

"Faith?"

Faith strained against the constricting hand while maintaining a glare aimed at the real Dean. "Ya think?"

Dean turned to his look-alike. "Let her go."

Fake Dean laughed. "But she needs to know. What you are. What you're gonna become."

"I said, let her go!" Dean pulled out his shotgun and fired into the fake Dean's chest, effectively releasing Faith in the process.

Faith collapsed to the ground in a fit of coughs. She felt Dean's comforting hands on her back, but quickly shrugged them off. "I'm fine." With Dean's unwelcome help, she got back up to her feet. "So, I knew you were mad at me, but damn."

"What are you doing here, Faith?"

"I heard about Bobby. Figured you two would be pretty worthless without him, so I thought I should help out. Course I ended up running into some skank thief trying to jack the Colt. So I beat her up, tied her to a chair and made her tell me where you were." Realization washed over her and she made a face. "Probably shouldn't have drunk the crap she gave me now that I think about it." She shrugged and continued, "Worked though."

Dean attempted to repress a grin, but couldn't stop it. "You beat up Bela?"

"You know her? I guess she's hot enough. And kinda resembles me, 'cept I'm so much--"

Dean cut off her bragging. "I don't know her like that."

"Oh. Sure, whatever." She glanced down at the floor and noticed the dead 'Dean'. "By the way, is having your psycho twin kill me a recurring thing in your head? 'Cause I was kinda hoping for more sexy-kinky dreams, not creepy-kinky."

"Funny." Dean shook his head. "It's nothing."

Faith didn't buy it. "If it's nothing, why are we still in la-la land?"

"Did you just say--"

"I'm serious, Dean. You're kinda the only thing that can get me back before Bela gets free. I'm sorta laying there for her to have her way with, ya know?"

A grin spread from ear to ear on Dean's face. "Oh, that is so gonna be a dream from now on."

"Focus, perv!" Faith lightly punched his shoulder.

"Honestly Faith, it's not a big deal. I'm gonna wake up now, okay?"

Faith grabbed his forearm and tugged until he was only an inch away. "You wake up, and I'm gone. I'll be out of this town long before you ever make it back to the motel. So if you want me out of your life, just say the word."

Dean let out a long sigh. "Faith..."

"Just tell me what's going on. Your twin may have been a helluva lot weirder than you, but he's still part of your head."

"I found out something lately. About the deal."

Faith's hand itched to touch him, to comfort him, but she resisted the urge. "Yeah, I remember the deal. You die in a year and then burn in hell. What else?"

Dean laughed at her bluntness. "Thought that was pretty obvious, sweetheart."

Brown eyes gazed down over the floor. "You think you're gonna be a demon?" She looked back at Dean. "That's bullshit."

"What do you think happens to people in hell, Faith?"

"They beg Lucifer for sunscreen." She smiled at her sarcasm.

Dean ignored her remark. "They turn into demons. May take a long time, but it'll happen. And then you and Sammy will have to kill me."

Faith's eyes widened slightly as she took in what he was saying. "No. No, Dean, no fucking way I'm killing you."

Dean's hands wrapped around her arms and the room spun.

Faith readjusted and watched from a distance as a laughing Dean stood above Sam, who was sobbing over a dead body. Sam cradled Faith in his arms, apologizing profusely for everything. Dean's cackle rang out like a shot, and in an instant, Sam lay dead as well.

"You see what I mean?" The actual Dean made his presence known as he moved back by Faith's side.

"Dude, that's completely ridiculous. No way you could kick my ass that easily."

Dean laughed in return. "Yeah, that's true."

She turned to face Dean, trying to read what he was thinking. "I don't buy it. Even if most of the worthless chumps in hell end up that way, there's no way you will."

"What makes you so sure?"

A laugh rumbled low in her chest. "'Cause you're you. And more than anything else, you're a fighter. You're stubborn as hell, and as much as that may piss me off, I know it means that you'll beat whatever they throw at you. That demon's never gonna be you, Dean."

Dean's mouth broke into a small smile. "I guess you're right."

"You're damn right I am. Now you wanna get me out of here?"

"You sure you don't wanna see more of my dreams?" He smirked playfully at her.

Faith grinned in return. "What did you have in mind?"

The room spun again, changing into a lush bedroom. Faith burst into laughter at the sight in front of her. "I knew there was some dirty stuff in that head of yours."

A blonde and brunette sauntered up to Faith with sexy smiles on their faces. "Come on, Faith. Don't you wanna play with us?"

Faith laughed again. She looked over at Dean and winked. "Why the hell not?" She grabbed the blonde's head and roughly crashed their lips together. Faith licked the seam of her playmate's lips before breaking away. She breathily moaned, "Come on B, we don't wanna leave Bela out." Faith pulled Bela in for an equally bruising kiss, sucking hard on her tongue and biting gently on her bottom lip.

Buffy let out a small whimper and proceeded to plant kisses down Faith's neck, leaving bite marks as she went.

Dean grinned like a happy idiot as he watched the three girls. "This is the best dream EVER."

Faith slid away from the two girls, leaving Buffy and Bela to continue the makeout session alone. She walked over to Dean and smiled wickedly. "Bet I can make it better." She wrapped her arms around Dean's neck and pulled him down for a passionate kiss. After thoroughly exploring his mouth with her tongue, she pulled away, sliding her teeth over his bottom lip in the process. "How 'bout you wake up and get back to the motel so we can finish this for real?" She kinked an eyebrow and leaned up to gently suck on his earlobe. "Bela's still tied up there."

Dean buried his fingers in her dark brown locks and pulled back until he could see her face. "You're pretty damn amazing, wildcat."

A quick smirk crossed her lips before she rose up on her toes to kiss him. A soft, "I know," was whispered against his lips before everything went black.

Dean was left kissing the air as he woke up in the Impala.

Sam's deep voice reached his brother's ears. "Dean?"

Dean didn't respond, he just threw the car into gear and sped off for the motel.

---

Dean practically broke down the door from frustration (his key wouldn't open the door.) He burst into the room, a giant grin on his face. "Faith, we're back!" His grin vanished when he noticed there was only one brunette girl occupying the room.

Bela rolled her eyes in annoyance. "She left. Before she untied me, I might add."

Dean tried his best to swallow the lump that formed in his throat. She'd taken off again. "Where'd she go?"

"I don't know, Dean. Some guy called her; she yelled a whole bunch, called him an inconsiderate bastard, then punched the wall and stormed off."

"That's it?" He suddenly had an urge to punch the wall himself.

"Well, she almost gave me a message, but I guess she realized that I wouldn't tell you. Smart girl."

Dean ground his teeth together. "Bela..."

She let out a sigh. "Fine. She told me to tell you that she's sorry, and that everything will be five by five. Whatever that means."

Dean raised an expectant eyebrow. "And?"

"Dean, this girl was very cryptic, and not at all pleasant. I didn't exactly pay attention to every word she said." She paused before noticing the way his hands balled into fists. "Hold your temper there, tiger. She just said that she'll see you in your dreams. Don't see what's so earth-shattering about that."

Dean smiled at that. He slowly bent down to untie Bela.

Once she was free, she stretched and stood from the chair. "If you see her again, tell your psychotic girlfriend that I said 'hello', will you?"

Dean's smile just grew wider. "Oh, I'll see her again."

Bela shook her head in disgust and turned to leave.

"Bela?" He watched as she looked back at him. "Sweet dreams."

A/N: Spoilers for the Supernatural episode "Mystery Spot"

Sam stared at the brown eyed beauty he'd come to rely on these past few months. She was his complete opposite, but the more he spent time with her, the more he realized he sort of loved her. The only disconcerting thing was the voice in his brain that screamed out the reason behind his love. This girl was the living embodiment of his brother. Sure, she had certain assets that his brother lacked, but she was him, body and soul. If Sam closed his eyes long enough, he could hear Dean's voice coming out of her gorgeous mouth. Every time he held her in his arms, he had to swallow his feelings, shut up the whisper that said this girl could've been Dean's soulmate. She replaced the void in his life, the one that had been there ever since that horrible Wednesday.

She met up with him, or more accurately saved him, while he was taking out a vampire nest in Austin. He could tell her first instinct had been to jump him, but he was far too gone to even think about girls at that point. But for some reason, she stuck around. Listened to his pathetic whimperings when things got too much, and handled his outbursts with a straight face. He was amazed that it took her a month before she finally succeeded in jumping him. Yet, after everything they had been through, he knew it all had to end.

When he heard that Bobby had found the Trickster, he barely gave Faith enough time to grab her coat before he was out the door. He felt Faith's eyes on him as Bobby pleaded to be killed. He could sense her hesitation, and he knew there were things in her past that he still didn't know. But that didn't matter anymore; he just needed his brother back. When the Trickster finally showed up, she gave him a sad smile.

"Guess I'll be seeing ya, Sam."

He wanted to feel remorse, to recognize the loss he was about to experience, but his mind could only see his brother. A snap of the trickster's fingers was all it took to erase her from his life.

---

A smile masked in a smirk and a kink of a shaped eyebrow. "You must be the Winchesters."

Sam felt all the air leave his lungs. She was here, and she had just effectively taken out three rather large demons without breaking a sweat.

She made her way over to the two shocked boys. "I'm--"

Sam beat her to it, breathing out her name. "Faith."

She shot him an impressed look. "Yeah. Guess I'm pretty famous."

Dean scoffed. "Not quite."

Sam picked up on the flirtatious grin that she gave Dean. He had seen it enough times.

"The words 'vampire slayer' mean anything to ya?" She turned her back on Sam, only focusing on Dean.

Dean returned her smile. "Huh. I figured you'd be less..."

Faith finished for him. "Hot? Yeah, I get that a lot."

"I'm Dean, by the way. And the quiet one over there is Sam."

She finally turned to look at Sam. Her eyes dragged over his figure, but not in the way that they used to. Before Sam could utter a word, she had moved her focus to the Impala. "Sweet ride."

Sam didn't even have to look to know that Dean was grinning.

"So, you boys mind giving me a lift? Since I did save your asses and all." She alternated looks between the brothers.

Dean's brain was still functioning, so he responded. "Anything for you, sweetheart."

Faith's deep laughter rung out in the night air. It resounded through Sam's brain, and he remembered that she hated cutesy names like 'sweetheart'.

She recovered from her laughing spell and shot a triumphant hand up into the air. "Shotgun!"

Sam looked startled for a moment. He wasn't used to having more than two in the car, whether it was just him and his brother, or the girl standing in front of him.

Faith picked up on his look and took it as confusion. "I mean the seat, not the gun, Sammy-boy."

Sam felt sick at the sound of that name. She had always called him Sam, but then again, she was just like Dean, wasn't she?

---

Dean blared the radio as usual, with Faith bobbing her head along to every AC/DC and Metallica song that blasted through the speakers. Then the loud rock calmed to a softer song, and Sam froze.

Faith's hand reached for the knob on the radio, and just for a second, Sam swore she remembered, he just knew that she would turn off this song. But instead she just turned the dial to make the music louder. She spun around to look at Sam. "Come on, you know you love Asia, Sammy!"

He had to bite down on his lip to keep from screaming. The Faith he knew would've turned off 'Heat of the Moment' before the first chord. Of course she wouldn't now, he had changed everything.

Dean laughed and threw an arm around the back of Faith's seat. "You're really something, wildcat."

Sam waited for the yelling, or even just laughter, but neither came. She was just... smiling.

Faith playfully punched Dean on the shoulder. "So, I was thinking... there's this vamp nest close by that I heard about. Sounds like a definite party." Her eyes lit up in excitement, in a way Sam had never gotten to see before. "Oh! And apparently there's this amazing burger joint near it too. Nothing like slaying to work up an appetite, huh?" She stared at Dean and bit her lip in a slow, seductive way; clearly expressing her double entendre.

Sam accidentally kicked the side of the car in frustration. He couldn't stand seeing Faith openly flirt with Dean. He knew that it would happen; he knew that Dean could fall for this slayer. He just didn't expect it to hurt so much.

Faith looked back at Sam with concern in her eyes. "You okay, Sammy?"

Sam swallowed, but his mouth stayed dry. "Yeah." He nodded in unison with his words. "You just remind me of a girl I used to know, that's all."

Faith studied him with her deep brown eyes, almost desperate to pick up on what he was hiding.

Sam pushed down his feelings and forced a half smile. "I'm fine."

Dean met Sam's eyes in the rear view mirror, with a look that said they would have a talk later.

Brown curls flung through the air as Faith gave up on trying to read the mystery that was Sam Winchester.

Sam just closed his eyes and listened to the noises around him. Voices reached his ears, and for almost a second, he couldn't tell which voice was which. The thought brought a smile to his lips. This would have to be enough.
