It's hard being in charge and having to juggle all those chainsaws. I like to think she was on the verge of a personal breakthrough, and with just a little more time...but as with so many women, her own needs and desires come last. And then, as you say, it was too late. She had just enough time to perfect her record in the "I love 'em/they leave me" box scores. Ouch.
