Thanks for the very nice feedback! It's naughty, but I was looking at a photo of JM and one of my LJ friends, and noticed how enormous his hands are (compared to hers), so was compelled to make the joke. I like to think that Buffy had been trying not to think about such things, until now...
I do think Buffy was making progress, it just didn't happen early enough to make the difference. *sniffle*
