Title: The Prophecy and A Decision
Author:
angelus2hot
Rating: PG
Word Count: 151
Prompt: 176 Free For All(earth, fire, air)
Characters/Pairing: Wesley
The Father will kill the Son
Surely that couldn't be right. Wesley removed his glasses, wiped them with a linen handkerchief before placing them once again on the bridge of his nose. He read the passage twice more and was still unable to believe what his eyes were seeing. How could this be? Angel had saved a lot of people's lives including his own.
The Father will kill the Son
The prophecy was quite clear. Once the Earth shook, the air burned, and the sky turned to blood; Angel would devour his son. But Angel adored his son; he would never hurt him.
The Father will kill the Son
The words stood stark against the pages, as if to dare him not to believe. Of course, he knew that prophecies had been known to be wrong before.
The Father will kill the Son
But could he afford to take that chance?
