THE MENTOR or THE WITCH

Details about the month here. According to the Patterns in Writing website: The Mentor guides the hero, teaching them skills and character traits, perhaps gifting important items. According to the Traditional Archetypes List website The Witch is a woman, often a hag (though she may be disguised as a beautiful young woman), who attempts to trap and destroy the protagonist.
