Author's notes: Quick one shot. Giles knows what Ethan did, by the way, but he does not know why. So he's in it for all the gusto he can get, if he can get any. Part 2 Will be added tonight as a comment.



He still had the where with all to remember the way Joyce really felt about him sans the candy. But this was his chance. He had to get her to eat some of the candy before it was too late.

He got out the albums he knew she liked. He dressed himself and did up his hair, wishing he had the Queer Eye guys to help him. But he (felt) was only a lowly crinkled librarian, not anyone they'd even try to help.

He practiced his swagger and sexy face in the mirror. He was good to go. He threw some candy bars in a box and headed to the Summers house.

Maybe just maybe he'd get lucky. He hoped.

Very cute story. Giles is acting like a nervous schoolboy all over again. :) He needs to channel some of the Ripper and just go for it. I always enjoy Giles/Joyce fiction. Wish we could have seen more of them on the show.

I'm feeling the same way. I almost begged you to put up a Joyce centric fic because I see very little Joyce ever. But I'm only a member here and not a mod and I don't think it's fair to me ask.
