She can’t say that she’s surprised to find out that an eternity in hell is well, an eternity in hell. She’s had a good eight years to prepare and she’d be lying if she said she hadn’t thought about it at least once a day since she signed her name on that dotted line.

They take away her pretty things, make her watch as they burn piles of Manolos and first editions. They put her in reception and make her a glorified secretary in a sweater and grandma pearls, forcing her to live (or un-live) out her worst nightmare.

But nothing beat that day when they made Lilah watch him on the big screen.

Nothing fueled the fire faster than seeing a lover wrapped up in someone else’s arms.

I, unlike a lot of people, was fond of Lilah. She was a bitch but she owned her bitchiness. But there weren't many times to really feel badly for her, but I think she really did grow to love Wesley by the end.

This was excellent though.

Lilah really grew on me as well, especially after the whole Wes/Lilah storyline. I'm trying to convert my sister to the Lilah love as she's just starting to watch and is indifferent towards her. I have to keep telling her that she will be awesome.

Thanks, I'm glad this prompt came about actually, I haven't wrote Lilah in ages. I shipped wes/lilah likes nobody's business, which actually makes me and my mother have silly little ship wars to this day. Ah, fandom, bringing together crazy generations of fangirls.

Ooooh, I loved this. I just loved how they made her watch as they burned her beautiful things and the grandma pearls thing was priceless. I love me some Wes/Lilah so I can totally feel the sting here of having to watch Wes with someone else. I am tossing around a Wes/Lilah idea for this challenge, see if anything comes out.
