Word Count: 135
Prompt: 022 Unseen
Characters/Pairing (if any): Willow
Disclaimer: First post here -- they're not mine. I'm just a lowly fangirl!
Willow knew how she felt, the girl who faded away into nothing. And yet, with her fading, she’d given Willow a startling revelation. That could have been her. The geeky girl, seen, and yet not. Half the time she suspected Xander never really saw her either, at least not in the way she saw him. Buffy saw only the prophecy. One girl in every generation, blah blah blah and Angel. Giles saw only Buffy.
Chewing on the end of her pencil, Willow looked out the library window. Behind the desk, Giles muttered to himself, looking through the Watcher’s diaries for something to help their latest dilemma. Buffy was out patrolling. Xander had gone for food. And she, once again, was alone. Willow closed her eyes, and for a moment, faded away.
And then, she smiled.
