Title: School Spirit
Author: Poisontearss
Characters: Cordelia, Snyder
Prompt: 003, Snyder
"Ms. Chase!" Snyder snapped as he saw a blur of maroon and yellow flash by him. He saw her pause, turn and look his direction. "Just what do you think you are wearing?"
Cordelia Chase glanced down at the outfit she had on. Since she was a cheerleader and it was Monday, the cheerleaders had to wear their School Spirit outfits. "What? This tacky garb you educational types forced on us?" She shrugged. "It's a requirement, Principal Snyder. It's Monday."
Snyder frowned at her. "I don't recall the shorts allowed to be so...non-exsistant." He sniffed disdainfully.
"Yeah...well." Cordelia glanced down at her outfit. "I kinda did my own alteration. I mean, these tacky colors don't even go together and they wash me out totally. So, I was thinking...how can I raise school spirit?" She flashed Prinicipal Snyder a smile. "And I so figured it out."
Principal Snyder studied the brunette cheerleader. Normally he would've found some stinging remark or something to put her in her place.
But, she was right. Sunnydale High lacked school spirit. "If I let you dress like that, don't you see? Everyone will want to dress like you."
Cordelia mulled it over. She was a trendsetter....a legend at her school. Her face took on a horrified expression. "Oh! Eww!" She exclaimed. "I so can't have that." She took off for the girl's bathroom, presumably to change.
After all, Cordelia was thinking of those poor fashion misfits with cellulite who would be trying to squeeze into short-shorts.
So, in a weird way, she had Principal Snyder to thank for saving her from a fashion disgrace.
