Real life and job openings

still_grrrWell, real life has smacked me in the mouth with a wet fish and made me call it daddy. Probably for at least the next week, I won't be commenting on entries. Maybe the next two weeks. The comm will continue to run, of course. No worries there. I will still be around to do all the modly things. I am keeping the comm on moderated submission because it is helping us to catch a lot of things. I will make sure posts get approved in a very timely manner.
But, and this has been a long time coming, Sarah and I know that this community has grown too large for just us to handle.
So how would you like a job? Yes, a job? With no pay, long hours, and well, you get virtual magic cookies. LOL Sarah and I have two positions that we need to be filled.
The first is another TAG MISTRESS (or MASTER). This person's only job will be to correct the tags and work on backtagging some entries to clean the list up. They would still be allowed to participate in voting, have things up for voting, etc. All they would be doing is tags. You have to be able to devote a few hours a week to it and be available on email so I can explain how we are cleaning up the list.
The second position is another MODERATOR. Why yes, now you too can have the power, answer questions, and delete the spam. Of course, you won't be able to vote, have your stuff voted on, and it takes a lot of hours of your time but think of the power. You can be CHOSEN! Dun dun dun. Basically, we need the mod to be available on email and be able to email me back between Tuesday 1am PST and Wednesday noon PST for the mod's choice. As well as weigh in on themes, prompts, etc. They would be helping with picture gathering, encourging people, etc. So reading all the entries, commenting, is a must. It is a HUGE job and we really need someone that is OMG! SERIOUS BUSINESS! about it.
