In the weeks right after Sunnydale, Xander’s life was lists. FEMA, the Red Cross, a couple of web-pages; they updated almost hourly and he checked them constantly. He knew Anya was dead, and Spike and a bunch of the baby Slayers too, but what about everyone else? His parents, neighbors, coworkers? The people from school? The pimply-faced kid who bagged his groceries? After everything he’d lost, Xander found he couldn’t bear the thought of losing them too. He waited to see if they were ok. He needed them to be ok. He just wished he knew the bag boy’s name.

I really like this, how you've taken a more down to earth practical aspect of what it would be like dealing with the aftermath.

Thanks. The show just kind of ended without dealing with the practical and emotional issues of destroying a town. So, I thought I should.
