Prompt 31: Loot

Title: Loot
Author: Redrikki
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 100
Prompt: 031, Firefly: River, Simon
Characters: Jayne, River, Simon

Jayne tossed the journal aside. The doc wrote like he talked, and if he really thought River seems somewhat improved he was more moon-brained than she was. Here was a stack of pictures. Simon at a hospital. Little River with sane eyes and an imp’s smile. Middle-aged couple with noses in the air and sticks up their asses. We’re proud of you, son the note said, but Jayne reckoned they weren’t so proud now. It would have been right tragic if Jayne gave a good gorram, but the Tams were gone and he had some looting to do.

::shakes Jayne:: Sounds about right.

::shakes Jayne:: Sounds about right. Good job getting into Jayne's head. I like that he has at least enough insight to realize it "would have been" tragic.

Great job one Jayne's voice and his tendency to fight against his better nature.

Jayne all the way - ignoring feelings (but still registering them)!

Love it! You totally captured Jayne to a T with this. Really tight piece.
