On nights when she has had too much Merlot, Harry gets out the photo albums. She took them with her when she left and some of his pictures and things were still in them. She sits on her couch, alone. There are pictures of him with his students. Handmade cards to “the best teacher in the world”. Pictures of the wedding, honeymoon, their first place. He was too hard to live with but they had their good times.

When she finishes the bottle, she calls his old number. It rings and rings, no answer. There is never an answer anymore.

It is my job to make you cry! Like you, I tried to write happy but it sure as hell wasn't working for me. I think the allergies sucked my happy right out.

Oh...guh. So much love for this, sort of bittersweet, which is perfect for Doyle/Harry. I can honestly say I never thought of if they told Harry about Doyle or not!

Thanks! Considering that very few deaths were really addressed on ATS, I figured maybe they didn't tell her or more importantly, didn't know how to tell her. Plus, I have been there, drinking too much wine and calling up my ex-boyfriends.

AWWW! That is so sad. Poor Harry. I always wondered how she took the news that Doyle died--why didn't they ever do that? Great job! *sniffles*

They didn't really address the after death on ATS. The funerals, the mourning, etc. That was more of a Buffy thing. It would have been nice to see it at least once.
