It was hard for her to except, she had thought he would always be around. Francis had that survival instinct, well he did have. Until he met them Angel and Cordelia, they had changed him inside and she wasn’t sure if it was for the better.

However, thinking on it just for a moment it wasn’t because he was dead and they were still alive. It was because he had tried to be a hero for them and trying to repay a debt for something that wasn’t really his fault, if we all owed a debt for something we should have done we were all doomed for a lifetime of repayment.

They had talked a lot since they had met up again she had found out everything about him. Parts of that story made her love him more but other parts she just wanted him to run away she had told him once that if you hang around with heroes you would die trying to be one of them and failing. She was almost right, he died trying to be a hero, and in his case, he truly was one.

Thank you for the comments for me the death of Doyle was a pivotal moment in the story of Cordy and Angel i think it pushed them closer and of course cordy ended up with the visions. I thought they did that episode brilliantly and Doyle was a hero, i did another story like this but it was Angel's POV on the death of Doyle.
