Illyria's Lament

Sterile white walls surround me, people brushing past with no regard for my presence. How could I come to such a place, this fate worse than any other imaginable. And it... bothers me. The actions of these lowly creatures. Unthinkable, intolerable, yet I can do nothing but tolerate it. My powers depleted, everything I was stripped, caged by my limitations. Still, they do not acknowledge me. He does not acknowledge me. A twinge of something that ought not be there, my treacherous lips parting, vocally expressing what I seek to keep hidden.

"Does anybody even notice? Does anybody even care?"
