Yup, there’s nothing like my father and Uncle Rory belching over beers with their pants unbuttoned while my mother and her sisters yell at each other in the kitchen. Who invented holidays anyway? It’s like torture, without the fun. So how about you? Same old same old?

You know it. My mother gave her annual speech. Then we had spaghetti. My dad went out for a walk – I’m pretty sure he stopped over at the neighbors’ for pie. She’s right, you know, Thanksgiving is a stupid holiday.

Xander held out a Zip-loc baggie and grinned.
