For the "surrealism" theme, here's five icons shamefully ripping off René Magritte's The Treachery of Images; the painting of a pipe with the caption "This is not a pipe." I just hope I got the French right...

Thanks a lot! I like to think there's a little bit of ambiguity in these - Angel's singing, but he's definitely not a singer; Tara isn't a demon, but acts the way she does because she thinks she's one; Buffy's about to be killed, but she'll end up victorious; etc. There was always more to the Buffyverse than met the eye.

I really liked these. I was going to pick a favourite, but I can't. They are wonderful in their subtlety. "This is not a sister" I love that. Because she is, but she isn't. The one with Willow, "This is not a vampire" is funny and cute. I thought at first that making them all off the same theme wouldn't fly well, but you picked great subjects and the choice of what things weren't was perfect. Great work.

Thanks! The "sister" one is a double bluff, of course - that's Dawn and the Buffybot, neither a "real" sister of anyone. :-)
