He’d started biting his nails again - not a good sign! And the stammer was back. Admittedly life had been unfair - let’s face it, when you’re a small, ugly research assistant in a rundown museum, you don’t have a life. But death was worse.
If only they would give him time to think, he knew he could be a useful member of the team. He had qualifications! But, as always, dead or alive, he ws the one who got laughed at and bullied.
Dalton sighed heavily and went back to washing the dolls’ clothes as ordered.

Great character piece here. Good insight into Dalton. The washing the doll's clothes and his thoughts were great.
