PROMPT 093:
ANYA, FRED, TRACEY, PENNY

Original Theme Post. This is going to be all about bringing back those characters we loved from the dead, playing what if they never died, maybe killing them in a new and exciting way, or dealing with the aftermath of their death. Let's face it, for most characters, we didn't get to see a whole lot of mourning going on. It doesn't have to be depressing. You could do a what if Tara had never died with her and Willow living long and beautiful lives with 10 cats and children from David Crosby. Or maybe you just really hated the way that Wesley died and thought he should have gone out taken down by an army of demonic bookworms and bookbugs. Or maybe Wash's funeral just wasn't enough and you think Zoe should have done something more dramatic.

but I want to do this right. Could I write a fic or an au/crossover fic where:

a)Fred returns/Fred never turns into Illryia?

b)Wash returns/Vamp "saves" Wash/Wash doesn't die?

No silly questions, no worries.

You can write it like Fred never turned into Illyria or Wash didn't die. It should be What if this person never died.

Or if you want to go with canon, you can write how other characters mourned the dead character.

deird1 has already submitted a fantastic fic, a what if Fred never died, if you need an example. You can also go back to June 2007 in the archive and see the other fic examples.

Just make sure it's What if Anya hadn't died? What if Fred hadn't died? What if Tracey hadn't died? or What if Penny hadn't died? since those are the characters that we picked for this prompt. :)

"You can write it like Fred never turned into Illyria/Wash didn't die. It should be what if this person never died." So, a what if Wash hadn't died fic would be okay, even though he wasn't a character picked for the prompt?

I used your examples back to try to help you understand. I'm sorry for confusing you.

You can only write about Anya, Fred, Tracey, and Penny for this prompt. Those are the four characters that were picked. Just like last week, we only had those three epsiodes to use.
