SCENE IT SEPTEMBER!!

THIS THEME WITH START WITH PROMPT 134 ON THURSDAY EVENING

We all know our favorite scenes. Whether it is Echo in her dominatrix outfit or Buffy psyching Luke out in The Harvest. These are the scenes that stick out in your mind, the ones you can't forget.

This month, we are going to be celebrating those scenes, with a bit of twist, of course. For fic writers, you can either rewrite the scene entirely or you can write it from the perspective of one of the characters involved. Iconists and fanartists, you will have plenty of caps of the scenes provided to icon and make art from as you choose.

Of course, we can't think of all the great scenes ourselves. So suggest your favorites. Just make sure they have at least three people in them and would be good to either rewrite or write from a different perspective and also, would be good to fanart.

I've forgotten the name of the episode but there was a scene in season 7 of Buffy where the First was haunting Spike and it went backward through all the Big Bads and ended with Buffy and said 'it's about power'.

I'm not sure whether you would consider that more than three people though :P

The scene in Las Vegas, Gunn, Angel, and Fred are sitting at the table listening to Lorne sing. Lorne walks right by without noticing them in The House Always Wins(episode 3 AtS season 4)

The scene from Serenity(the big damn movie) with Kaylee, Mal, Jayne and the rest..The one where Jayne says "I can stand to hear a little more"

The scene where Zoe finds out that Mal is "married" and she calls everyone to the hold in Our Mrs Reynolds(episode 6 Firefly)

okay I'm going to stop now cause I could just keep going on and on. I have way too many favorite scenes.

The scene in The Girl in Question when the Burkles see Illyria being Fred.

1. Valentine's gifts with Angelus, Spike, and Dru.

2. When Oz gets the skinny at Buffy's surprise party.

4. The vamp club from "Lie to Me". (Okay, I'll stop with Season 2 Buffy! Sheesh! It's not like it's a family secret or anything.)

5. I heartily concur with "anything from Band Candy" and raise "anything from Doppelgangland" and "anything from Superstar".

7. The Magic Box fight/reveal from "Family".

8. Olaf at the Bronze.

9. Buffy's smackdown of the Council in "Checkpoint".

1. Skip the demon guard (it's just 2 people, though, except for the dude in the cell).

1. Oh yes please! Zoe's announcement of Mal's marriage. He's already in the special hell!

2. Opening sequence in "Trashed" with good ol' Monty.

3. Meeting the gals in "Heart of Gold".

4. The R'n'R stop in "Serenity" that leads to River going off.

Dr. Horrible:

1. The 3-way meet-up in the alley.

2. The ghastly meeting at the end.

Dollhouse:

1. "Man on the Street" interviews.

2. "Epitaph One" when they discover the dollhouse.

Since I can't find a way of PMing I'm gonna ask in here :D I just joined a few days back and wanted to get in on the fun. I know it's the last day of September but had an idea for a scene from "Waiting in the Wings" on Angel (pertaining to the TMI slip Cordelia made about her and the ghost that's good with a loofah) Can I still submit something even if I haven't suggested it before now?

This week's prompt closes at 8pm PST Thursday (tomorrow) so you have over 24 hours to get in something. Because it's the last prompt of the month, it's a free for all, meaning you can do any scene from any show.

You don't have to make suggestions for the free for all. Suggestion posts are just mostly so that we can get an idea of what people would like to do so that we can do the other prompts for the month (the non-free for all) with member suggestions.

Wow! That was a really fast response time! Thanks so much for answering so quickly and clearing up my muse-frazzling confusion. I wanted to get writing already but needed to hear from you first. As pimped, it seems this community has really great people associated with it. Thanks again - you rock! :D
