CLASSIC HORROR FILMS OCTOBER!!

THIS THEME WITH START WITH PROMPT 138 ON THURSDAY EVENING

In honor of Halloween and the super scary month of October, we've decided to pay homage to those classic horror flims from old (in this sense, we are using any horror films from the 80s and older). This month, you can use the title to inspire you, write a crossover with the film, pretty much whatever inspires you in terms of the title. We will have four classic titles for you to pick from each week.

We won't be providing screencaps this month. It is going to be up to you to get inspired by titles and to find caps that work for your art and inspiration. As always, we can always use suggestions for classic horror films so comment with your ideas.

Of course! Any horror film from the 80s or later is up. A, B, C, D, even Z-rated. :)

OMG, I just followed the link to the classic horror films...

Some of the movies that they have listed as horror films...Blade: Trinity, Hellboy, Predator, Jaws, Jurassic Park and for crying out loud..Tremors! *dies*

I couldn't however find movies like, The Unholy, My Demon Lover and Night Breed..not that they're any scarier but still on the list of B horror movies they do fit the bill :D

Maybe I'm reading your comment wrong but Predator is consider scifi horror. Blade: Trinity would be under the vampire genre. Hell even Twilight's consider horror because of the vampires and werewolves. Tremors is kind of a scifi-comedy-horror. Though I agree I really can't see how Hellboy is horror. It's a comic book character movie. If they wanna call Hellboy horror then I guess they'd all be horror. Even Superman. lol
