Slowly Willow steps into the shower. She turns the water on. Lets the water stream across her face.

“Please,” she whimpers. “Please. I don’t want to remember.”

The water flows and cleanses her body, but it won’t clear her mind. She closes her eyes and sees Tara leaving. Again. The image haunts her days, haunts her nights.

She tries to concentrate herself on the water flowing down her body. She tries to push the thoughts out of her mind.

“You taste like strawberries.”

Rack’s voice echoes in her brain.

Willow tries to melt away in the water, to drain herself along with the clean shower water. If it won’t cleanse her, maybe it can dissolve her.
