I loved the way the music made the little moments from Buffy's life feel delicate and lovely, and then how that was interspersed with all these violent and horrific images that were also part of her life. And that made the small and delicate ones feel even more precious. Which in turn made the moments of violence and sudden death even more emotionally piercing.
