Breakfast Plans

She takes her usual bag of burgers away, even after the closing shift. So many need feeding. The bag cools steadily against the cemetery wall, as she routinely destroys the newly-risen. A shower of vamp-dust coats the bag, but she has twisted it carefully shut, knowing this might happen.

The contents of the bag is cold by the time she finishes, as it generally is. They have a microwave; Dawn will be able to heat hers up.

Before heading home, she calls into a crypt. It’s that time of the month. She can feed her vampire before she feeds herself.

This is only the second "time of the month" fic I've read. It's rather kinky, when you think about it.

But why let a good thing go to waste? I'm sure Spike is grateful, lol.

That's properly bleak - so many Doublemeat fics get silly, it's nice to see one that shows how damn dreary and exhausting it was for her to be working there on top of everything else.
