Title: Her Dear Boy
Author:
angelus2hot
Rating: PG
Word Count: 139
Prompt: 206 (decades)
Characters/Pairing: Darla
A/N: character death
After being on the earth for decades after decades, time had no meaning, at least for her, it hadn't for a very long time. Not even its passing could cause a momentary worry. Why should she fear the one thing humans feared above all else? It couldn't hurt her, she was immortal. Nothing could hurt her now.
Except for Angelus. He was her finest creation, her dearest boy. The fun they'd had, the horrors they had committed were all engraved on her mind. But now he was her darkest regret. She stared into his eyes as the wood plunged through her skin to her heart. This wasn't her boy. This was the abomination that liked to be called Angel.
Her boy would save her. He'd find a way. It was her last thought as her body turned to dust.
Title: Save Me
Author:
angelus2hot
Rating: PG
Word Count: 172
Prompt: 206 (weeks)
Characters/Pairing: Spike
A/N: character death(but not his)
The weeks after her death passed by slowly, torturously. Spike had kept hoping for someone, anyone to jump out and yell 'April Fools' but no one did. It wasn't a tasteless joke, she was really gone and no one came to save him from the pain that consumed him.
Darkness surrounded him as he walked towards her grave. His hand clutched around the red rose he carried. He always came to visit her every night. And every night he brought her another gift, the gifts she wouldn't have accepted from him when she was alive.
He kneeled on the hard ground and placed the rose against the headstone. His fingers brushed the cold stone as he gently traced the outline of her name. Tears fell unchecked down his face and ran slowly to the ground as he whispered, "I should've saved you." His heart broken into tiny pieces, his head fell forward to lay against the front of the stone. His cries could be heard by anyone who cared.
No one did.
