189 Drabble: Comparatively Safe

Title Comparatively Safe
Author Brutti ma buoni
Rating PG
Word Count 100
Prompt 189 Principal
Characters/Pairing (if any) Robin Wood, OMC
A/N: This is all [livejournal.com profile] gamiila's fault.

“...Garcia, eaten by wolves, ‘89. Fontaine, neck trauma, ‘90. Morgan, neck trauma, ‘94. Flutie, eaten by hyenas ‘97. Snyder, eaten by a snake, ‘99. And/or city official, depending on how you classify. It’s a toughie, stats-wise”

“I see. And after Snyder?”

“Well, that would be you. If you take the job, Mr Wood. Can I call you Robin?”

“I think you better, if you’re going to persuade me to take a job where the Principal has the life expectancy of a Spinal Tap drummer.”

“Oh, let’s not exaggerate. Principals have a pretty long life expectancy. Compared with the janitors, anyway.”

That Morgan was a resilient cuss, wasn't he?

Excellent job, sweetie! Of course, any reference to Spinal Tap drummers gets extra credit!

What did happen to the janitors anyway? Go on. You know you want to.
